Scripture:

Testimony:

The key word in the Book of Proverbs is Wisdom “ability to live life skillfully.”  Wisdom is living godly life in an ungodly world. However, it is no simple assignment. Proverbs provides God’s detailed instructions for his people to deal successfully with the practical affairs of everyday life: how to relate with God, parents, children, neighbors, friends, enemies and government. Solomon the principal author of the “Book of Proverbs”, uses a combination of poetry, parables, pithy questions, short stories and wise maxims to give strikingly memorable form the common sense and divine perspective necessary to handle life issues. Diligence is a crucial requirement to rule and reign in life.

October 6 - I SHALL PRAISED ACCORDING TO MY CHOICE OF WISDOM

Scripture:

Proverbs 12:8 A  man is praised according to his wisdom but men with warped minds are dispised.

Testimony:

In the 1950s a psychologist, Stanton Samenow, and a psychiatrist, Samuel Yochelson, sharing the conventional wisdom that crime is caused by environment, set out to prove their point. They began a 17-year study involving thousands of hours of clinical testing of 250 inmates here in the District of Columbia. 

To their astonishment, they discovered that the cause of crime cannot be traced to environment, poverty, or oppression. Instead, crime is the result of individuals making, as they put it, wrong moral choices. In their 1977 work The Criminal Personality, they concluded that the answer to crime is a “conversion of the wrong-doer to a more responsible lifestyle.”

In 1987, Harvard professors James Q. Wilson and Richard J. Herrnstein came to similar conclusions in their book Crime and Human Nature. They determined that the cause of crime is a lack of proper moral training among young people during the morally formative years, particularly ages one to six.

1.    Smile. It has been said that the expression one wears on one’s face is far more important than the clothes one wears on one’s back.

4.    Don’t criticize, condemn and complain.

5.    Always take a decision. Indecision can be very costly.

Testimony:

The Lord is set to take you to your desired height in Life. Today, we are looking at the inspiring testimony of a lady in Africa. “The year 2009 started for me on a bleak note. I had no job, no accommodation in Lagos and no relationship towards marriage.  With all these circumstances, I chose to hold on to the word of God and trust Him for all things. I rehearsed within myself that the word of God sometimes may be slow, but it is sure. Then I chose to hold my peace and was counted wise. Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool when he holdeth his peace is counted wise: but he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. Then, My testimonies started rolling-in in quick succession. Firstly, I got a free accommodation. Secondly, got Capital funding for my business. Thirdly, I got married to a man of my heart desire within a year after a long wait. Also, doors opened for our relocation abroad and my husband has enjoyed rapid promotion since. Lastly, we have been enjoying bliss in my marriage and a healthy spiritual relationship with God. IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, WE SERVE A SUPERNATURAL GOD…….

Prayer Points:

1.The present help in times of trouble shall visit my situation by divine wisdom in JESUS NAME.  Psalm 46:1

2. According to your word in Isaiah 41:1The only wise God shall help me out of captivity, oppression, frustration, discouragement and disappointment in JESUS NAME. Jude 25

5. By your wisdom, give me a good value, worth and meaning of my life and destiny Oh God.

Oct 4 - I RECEIVE WISDOM FOR DISCERNMENT

Scriptures:

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you”. Genesis 41:39

This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666. Revelations 13:18

Testimony:

This is my Personal testimony. The year “1997” was my 7^th year of employment as an Engineer in a multinational oil and gas company in Nigeria. Not one promotion, Not one Overseas training. I was sad, un-appreciated, discouraged and frustrated. Every other colleague has been promoted and sent on overseas training but me. I concluded,  “Not all hard-work brings promotion”. So, I asked God for wisdom, favor and ability to work smart in a corporate environment.

This scripture was made alive in my spirit through protracted prayers: Proverbs 18:16 A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the present of the great. Then, I was prompted to sow US dollars 300 into the Ministry of a certain Preacher in Lagos. Three weeks after I was nominated for 3 months Training in the United States, Philippines and Singapore. Not long after, I was promoted to the next level. I do not want to see manifestation of the number 3 as coincidence in this testimony, instead perceive it as divine number of Trinity.

 Prayer Points:

1.   Oh God avail me with insight and wisdom to discern the secrets of my advancement in all areas of my Life.

2.   Wisdom that open doors of greatness I desire and demand in Jesus Name.

3.   Wisdom to do your will at all times I demand and desire in Jesus name.

4.   Wisdom to triumph, conquer and prevail over all circumstances and situations I demand and desire in Jesus name.

5.   Wisdom for good governance and Godly leadership I desire and demand for leaders in my Community, County, City and Country in Jesus name.

6.   Wisdom to break strongholds of wickedness and terrorism we desire and demand in our land.

  

Action Points:

1.   Submit to God because true wisdom comes through submission to God. Proverbs 15:33

2.   Ask for impartation by the HOLY SPIRIT. Ephesians 1:17

3.   Study the word because Wisdom can be received through the word of God Psalm 19:7

5.   Listen more and Talk less. Proverbs 18:13 He who answers before listening that is the folly and his shame.

TESTIMONY

Solomon, known as one of the wisest people ever: his wisdom is corrupted by selfish ambition, as he tries to create a name for himself by collecting wives from all the pagan countries around him.

Hezekiah Served God with a whole heart, he tore down the idols that the people worshiped and had the people only worship God. God gave him great wisdom and military success, along with military miracles and healing. But one day when envoys came from Babylon, he had to show off and show them all of his treasures. Because of his selfish ambition, God removed his favor, and Isaiah prophesies, “"Hear the word of the LORD : 17 The time will surely come when everything in your palace, and all that your fathers have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the LORD . 18 And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood, that will be born to you, will be taken away, and they will become eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon." Oct 2 - WISDOM WILL SAVE YOU FROM THE WAYS OF WICKED MEN

Testimony :

The wisdom of God will deliver whatsoever ever you are trusting God for in your hand today in Jesus name. This is the story of someone whose passport got stuck in transit. My younger sister who studied in the UK applied for a work permit after her MBA programme last October. Her application and passport got stuck in transit. As a result, she became stranded because she could neither work in the UK nor return home to Nigeria.

Oct 1 - WISDOM SHALL STABILIZE YOUR TIMES

God has given us wisdom to live an outstanding life, today we are looking at a testimony of a brother that his wisdom provided him a job.


I finished school in 2007. since then i have been doing one odd job or the other. I am a software developer and all my friends and people who have met me have always commented on how good a programmer  I am, and how I should be working for the likes of google and Microsoft. But i never really got such jobs.

DAY 30 - THOU SHALL BE CALLED BY A NEW NAME

TESTIMONY

There is an interesting testimony I would like to share with you. It is the story of family which experienced a turn around.

My husband and I suffered many years of financial pressure and at a point, it appeared not to be ending. We continued to give even in our need and we even gave our time and effort to the work of God. We even sowed our belongings into the kingdom until there was nothing left to give. People mocked and jeered at us and some people we owed threatened our lives.

When the set time came, God supernaturally opened doors of business opportunities for my husband abroad and things began to turn things around. Our finances took a new turn and God did not just make a way for our debts to be paid but he settled us in such a way that words cannot describe. Those who were loggerheads with us now curry our favour.

DAY 29 - YOUR GATES SHALL BE OPENED

TESTIMONY

Last year August, I was to make a down payment, when the Holy Spirit told me, during my quiet time one morning, to put the money in church. He gave a scripture in (proverbs 16:19). The following week I attended the church service and put money into the building fund. When I picked my promise, it was the same scripture God give me during my quiet time.

PRAYER POINTS

1.    I Command every gate that is shut against my promotion to be opened

2.    Today I open the gate of promotion, financial break through, marriage and all-round success in JESUS Name.

ACTION POINT

1. Embrace every opportunity to sow into God’s work
2. Obey the voice of the Holy Spirit promptly

DAY 28 - I SHALL RIDE ON THE HIGH PLACES OF THE EARTH

TESTIMONY

No matter how low you have sunk, God can still elevate you to a position of prominence. He can turn situations around any time, any way, anywhere. Let me share this testimony with you: My family was given a quit notice and there was no hope of securing alternative accommodations. We had no money. My husband’s business was not doing well and I kept asking God where I would keep my children.

DAY 27 - IT IS MY TIME OF REWARD

TESTIMONY

A lady gave a testimony about how God saved her husband from incrimination. My husband got a new job in a big company but after working for two weeks, he called me and said he would resign the appointment. He said that the job was not fit for a child of God and I agreed with him. As soon as he resigned, the director of the company wrote a petition against him that he made away with the company’s N200,000:00 (two hundred thousand naira). My husband was therefore arrested and locked up in the cell for weeks. God vindicated my husband and he delivered my family from this injustice.

 SCRIPTURE:

TESTIMONY:

I was a member of an armed robbery gang and I sincerely felt it was a means of livelihood until I was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in 1998.

In October 2000, I gave my life to Jesus Christ right there in the prisons. I start attending the fellowship and was active. I was only interested in the salvation of my soul rather than freedom was rather far-fetched considering my offence. This was coupled with the fact that I had no one to help me.

There was a three day revival programmed in the maximum prisons, which literally shook the prison to its very foundations. The word of God was preached with great power. That day a word of prophecy was declared that said ‘the prison gates are opened’. I believed the word of God totally and started behaving like a free man. My mind was renewed, the word preached had a great impact upon my life and many others.

DAY 25 - THE BLESSING OF THE LORD SHALL BE UPON ALL I POSSESS

TESTIMONY

I would like to share the testimony of a lady with you who God blessed with a job in a miraculous exceedingly because of her obedience and because she had been a blessing to another person. “For some time I felt the Lord was telling me to bless my husband first in all that I do. I thought it was rather out of place. Expecting he should be the one responsible for my welfare and not the other way round. In the end, I complied.

TESTIMONY

When I was pregnant with my baby, I suddenly developed back pains. Instead of going to where we had exercise classes at the hospital, I decided to go and chat with the nurses. One of the nurses decided to check my blood pressure, it was 165/110 and the result of the urine test showed that there was protein and glucose in my urine.

The nurse took my hand and led me to the doctor. It was an emergency. The doctor said I had to be admitted that day. They said I would be operated upon. My B. P. Shot up, though I was physically okay, except that I had exercises that day, I would have entered into coma. Miraculously, I had my baby without complications and God was with me.

Two month later, I dreamt that I saw my baby covered inside a carton and I took her out. I had another dream where she was put in a shrine, I attended one of the services, pastor called me out and told me “the Lord will fight your battles and you will hold your peace”.

A week later, my baby started turning her neck and her eyes were rolling. The doctors said she had meningitis. He said if it had happened in her sleep, she would have been unconscious and things would have been bad. I have seen babies that had meningitis; they come out like vegetables. But God had fought my battles. I give God praise.

DAY 23 - YOU WILL CROWN MY YEARS BOUNTY AND MY PATH WILL OVERFLOW WITH ABUNDANCE

TESTIMONY

I had been working with my organization for 18years without promotion. I decided not to join the crowd in canvassing for promotion but trusted in God for divine intervention. My boss applied for promotion on my behalf but stated that he would not move beyond that level.

To God be the glory, I was promoted to the Post of Assistant Manager. On Monday after that I was in my office when my children called and informed me that my husband had been promoted and given a brand new official vehicle.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.    God make my life a fruitful one.

2.    Cause everything that concerns me to flourish

3.    Wire my life with uncommon exploits and overflow in Jesus name.

ACTION POINTS

1. Think big and do something big because you are a product of your thought

DAY 22 - THE LORD SHALL GIVE ME REST ON EVERY SIDE

TESTIMONY

After service one Sunday, I attended a dinner party where I ate food that was contaminated around 2a.m. The next morning, I found my body reacting unusually. I had pain that persisted till about 4am on Monday morning. I was in pains and was at home alone. Took some medication but was still in pains until about 4a.m. on Tuesday morning. As I continued with my self-medication, something came to my consciousness that I had reading the book of Daniel 11……….that those Jews who knew the God they serve will be strong and would do exploits.

I thank God for sparing my life.

PRAYER POINT

1. Father, calm every storms raging in my life, business, family, etc in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, I receive rest from whatever might be of trouble to me in the name of Jesus.
3. Oh Lord according to your word in Judges 5:31, Anything in form of Sisera in my life shall give to rest in my marriage, family , career, education and business endeavours.

DAY 21 - YOU WILL INCREASE MY HONOUR AND COMFORT ME ONCE AGAIN.

TESTIMONY

Whatever you have lost, God is able to restore. It does not matter what, He can and He will. Just believe!

I like the testimony of a young lady whose parents’ marriage was restored after 20 years of painful separation.

The family suffered 20 years of divorce and separation and this brought severe agony to the children.

The father was hardened and was not ready to listen to anyone. I invited the mum to prayer conference and it happened right there, I am happy to declare that  their father came back miraculously and took the mother back after 20 years of separation.

DAY 20 - I RECEIVE THE WORD FOR HEALING AND DELIVERANCE.

In moment like this, you need words to motivate you that God is able. In the month of August 2008, I was diagnosed with fibroid growth and was very unhappy about it. Each time I touched my abdomen I felt a circular mass which was very uncomfortable. I started confessing Isaiah 53:5 which says, “...that by his stripes, we are healed”. However, the fibroid remained. I held on to God and believed it would disappear no matter how stubborn it was and I would never be operated upon. I was ashamed to tell anyone as I did not want them to negatively influence my faith.

In the last week of October before the vigil, I told God that it would be my week of divine intervention, favour and connection. My miracle happened right during the vigil when Pastor began to say prophetically that every disease or pain would vanish. I tapped into that word by faith. After the vigil, Pastor said there was someone that was ashamed to tell his /her problem to anybody and that he believed the person had been healed, adding that the person could confirm with his or her doctor. I decided not to confirm with my doctor because I believed the word of the Lord through his servant. The next morning, I discovered the growth under my abdomen had disappeared and it remained so since then. I am very grateful to God for healing me.

Day - 19 THE MOUNTAIN WILL BRING PROSPERITY

TESTIMONY

God’s intention is that you prosper. He wants you to prosper. Your life should be a testimony to God’s ability to make one fruitful and prosperous in all aspects of life. It is a divine right of every child of God, there is a testimony of an individual which I would like to share with you.
“It has been a tough time for the past few months but I was STEADFAST IN MY SERVICE. Back in London, someone forged my signature and drew out all the money I had in my account going to about £4,000 and left only 2 pence. After much investigation, the parents of the culprit agreed to pay all in all but there was no positive result so I decided to forget about the money and forge ahead. Despite all the difficulties, I was still able to fulfil all my obligations in church.

By September 2007, I asked God to bless me and He did. Firstly, I got my visa renewed without stress. Secondly, I got a big breakthrough in business. I also got a gift of a car from someone. Also concerning my sister’s children’s difficulty in getting married after prayer, one of them got married”.

Do not grow weary in well doing. Let us be consistent in the place of service irrespective of the person God places over us. God blessed this individual and he can do the same for you.

Day 18 - I SHALL INCREASE GREATLY, I SHALL BE STRONGER THAN MY OPPRESSOR

TESTIMONY

God can take away shame. He can save you from disgrace and embrassment but you need to run to Him. Let look at the testimony of someone that cried out to God and was saved.

Day 17 - MAY GOLD FROM SHEBA BE GIVEN HIM

God wants to do the supernatural manifestation of his power in your life. This testimony will provoke you to the next level. “I had a wonderful marriage until May 2005. When a strange woman came into our live. At first it did not seem
too serious until September when the woman started tormenting us. Each time I prayed for her to go away, she intensified her determination to break my home. At a point
it was as if God was not going to answer my prayers.
I decided to sow a seed towards my marriage and to devote more time to God. I attended one of the services and God did it, my husband renounced his relationship with the strange woman and entered the next month with victory it was declared our month of victory in church. We are now a happy couple and family praying together and praising God for his mercies. Gold is a figure of speech that connotes insight
form of value that God can give.
