 SCRIPTURE:

Jer. 15:20 “I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you”.

TESTIMONY:

I was a member of an armed robbery gang and I sincerely felt it was a means of livelihood until I was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in 1998.

In October 2000, I gave my life to Jesus Christ right there in the prisons. I start attending the fellowship and was active. I was only interested in the salvation of my soul rather than freedom was rather far-fetched considering my offence. This was coupled with the fact that I had no one to help me.

There was a three day revival programmed in the maximum prisons, which literally shook the prison to its very foundations. The word of God was preached with great power. That day a word of prophecy was declared that said ‘the prison gates are opened’. I believed the word of God totally and started behaving like a free man. My mind was renewed, the word preached had a great impact upon my life and many others.

On the 7 September 2004, the word was declared on the 28 of October, I was the first to be released! I walked out of prison a free man. Although, I was an undeserving man, the blood of Jesus was enough to set me free.

I give God praise for delivering me.

1. Don’t engage in activities that will jeopardize God’s protection on your life.
2. Be actively involved in high praises and intense prayer
3. Shun sharp practices this year
4. Run away from people of questionable character
